
The House of Representatives has summoned the National Security Adviser (NSA), and heads of other security agencies, including paramilitary organisations after their marathon meeting at the green chamber.
Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila who made the announcement said the House also resolved that President Muhammadu Buhari should immediately declare a state of emergency against insecurity in the country.
There have been heightened insecurity in almost all parts of the country.
Just on Monday, Niger state Governor Sani Bello raise alarm over continuous destruction of lives and property by Boko Haram insurgents.
He particularly said the terrorists have displaced many from over 50 communities of the state and hoisted flag in one part of the state.
