The first Northern Nigerian Woman Radio broadcaster Haj Murjanatu Katsina has died.
She passed on yesterday in Dutsin-ma, Katsina state.
She was a Hausa langauge broadcaster at Voice of Germany now Deutsche Weller( DW) and became the only female House of Assembly member at the Kaduna state house of Assembly between 1979-1983.
She was a role model of self-determination as she was able to rise to the top by sheer hardwork and determination despite all the obstacles women face.
