The Network and Advocacy Group of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation is hosting a three day interactive workshop with 30 Community Stakeholders drawn from across the country, on Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th of March, 2021, at the Lux Terra Complex in Abuja.
Participants at this workshop are a selection of youth and women leaders, religious leaders, and leaders of corporate organisations as well as professional bodies, from across ethno-religious and geo-political boundaries.
They have been brought together in furtherance of Lux Terra’s commitment to seek out and facilitate a functional and formidable network among peace loving and patriotic Nigerians of diverse socio-ethnic, geo-political and religious backgrounds, towards building a measure of consensus on a number of critical national issues, and jointly advocating for wide-ranging structural reform, for greater justice, equity and social inclusion, and towards dousing political tension, managing conflicts with creative dialogue, and promoting peaceful coexistence and national integration.
Among facilitators at the event are Fr George Ehusani, Dr Goke Adegoroye, Mrs Latifat Eigbedion, Prof. Moses Zaruwa, Barr Mike Utsaha, Mr Ismaila Ohiare and Dr Inya Ode.
This initiative is one more in a series of programme interventions that the newly established Network and Advocacy Group is undertaking in partnership with the MacArthur Foundation and OSIWA, to help salvage the Nigerian nation whose very existence is today threatened by multiple political and security challenges.
