Breaking: NPFL Club, Adamawa Utd, robbed, driver kidnapped

Adamawa United players and officials were robbed on Friday night by armed robbers along Benin-Ore expressway, Veritynewsonline can authoritatively report.

We gathered that the armed robbers dispossessed both players and officials of their belongings including phones, match allowance and others around 11.45pm on their way for their week 11 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) fixture against MFM Fc in Lagos.

We also gathered Team driver also abducted in the process, as at press time, he wasnt seen till now.

The Yola-based club is the third NPFL team that have witnessed trouble on their way to honour match within one week.
