Sokoto State Commissioner of Home Affairs, Abdulkadir Jeli Abubakar III, has died
Abdulkadir who died on Thursday evening, after a protracted illness is a younger brother to Sultan Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar.
He was a former commissioner for information, during Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal’s first tenure.
The deceased, who was survived by two wives and many children, had been buried according to Islam.
As at the time of filling this report, the state government was yet to issue official statement to confirm the latest evelopment.
