Gunmen suspected to have kidnapped Babawuro Tofai , younger brother to serving minister of Agriculture, Sabo Nanono are yet to establish Communications with the family barely 24 hourr after the incident.
Checks with relevant stakeholders close to the high profile personality on Tuesday morning said the bandits are yet to link up with anyone close to abducted minister’s brother.
Alhaji Ahmad Aminu, media aide to Sabo Nanono told this tabloid in a brief telephone chat that “No contact yet from anybody”.
Aminu said, “in the interim, we have intensified our prayers for the safe return of Mr. Babawuro Tofai.”
Unknown Gunmen had on Monday stormed Tofai village, the country home of the Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Sabo Nanono and abducted his his younger brother.
Alhaji Sabo Nanono is the current title holder of Sarkin Fulani of Tofai village, Gabasawa local government area of Kano state.
The spokesperson of Kano State Police Command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, said the police are investigating the matter.
