Security personnel are on alaert in Apo Village, settlement in Abuja after the Monday mayhem in which vehicles were burnt and houses destroyed.
They are also watching over popular Eagles Square in Abuja where Veritynewsonline learnt that thugs are planning to cause mayhem.
As of Tuesday morning, armed policemen have been stationed in the affected spots to prevent reprisal.
Residents whose cars were burnt or houses vandalised are counting their losses and palpable tension still envelopes the area.
The situation has made armed policemen and soldiers deployed in the Supreme Court gate of the Presidential Villa, be on red alert.
Soldiers manning the Cenotaph directly opposite the Eagle Square are also on standby.
Up the road, tight security was also noticed around the Court of Appeal premises and the Police Headquarters.
