Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, to Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Laolu Akande, has revealed that his principal is in self-isolation.
Akande, who shared a picture of Osinbajo having meeting via video conference call, said the VP is self-isolating in accordance with the “protocols” of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
This may not be unconnected to the fact that the VP has been in contact with Chief of Staff to President Muhammad Buhari, Abba Kyari, who tested positive to the COVID-19.
Akande on Twitter wrote, “VP Osinbajo yesterday at the office conducted his meetings via video conferencing, while observing social distancing.
“Today, he continues his work from the home office, as he is in self-isolation in accordance with NCDC protocols.”
