Man arrested over knife attack at Beijing hospital

  Cui Zhenguo, an attacker who injured four people at a hospital in Beijing, has been arrested on suspicion of intentional homicide, local authorities said on Wednesday.

His arrest was approved by the Beijing People’s Procurator-ate on Wednesday, a day after Beijing police handed him over to the procurator ate on charges of intentional homicide,said  the procurator-ate.

Four people, including three medical personnel, were injured in the knife attack at the Beijing Chaoyang Hospital on Monday. Their lives are not at risk.

The incident happened at about 2 p.m. when Cui, 36, attacked others with a kitchen knife before fleeing the scene.

He was later apprehended by police officers and security staff at the hospital.
