Adamawa governor declares N32,000 for workers

The government of Adamawa says it will start paying N32,000 to workers from November 2019

Head of service of the state, Edgar Amos said the decision is part of the campaign promises made by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

The position of the state government was made known by state’s head of service, Edgar Amos. Amos said the N32,000 approved by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri would be paid to workers commencing with the salaries for November 2019.

The head of service added that the decision to increase the minimum wage was because the governor wanted to fulfil his campaign promise to the people that he would raise their pay if elected.
