Presidency Receives Panel Report On Elimination Of Drug Abuse

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met with the Chairman and members of the Presidential Advisory Committee on the Elimination of Drug Abuse (PACEDA).

The meeting started around 11.30am at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the committee, General Muhammad Buba Marwa (rtd.), is expected to submit the committee’s report on measures to eliminate drug abuse in the country to President Buhari.

The President had inaugurated the committee in January.

The committee had embarked on find-finding and advocacy visits to parts of the country towards meeting its mandate.

The closed-door meeting was still in progress at the time of filing this report.
