The senator
representing Adamawa North senatorial district Sen.Elisha ishiaku Abbo has been
honoured as “Africa’s legislative personality” by Parliament for League of
African Development Students.
Presenting
the award to the senator Tuesday, the leader of the delegation Moran Gabriel,
from Upsa Ghana said the senator has
proven to be a Spartan revolutionary advocate for a modern Africa, inspiring
various communities and human capital development.
Responding
to the award and his appointment as leads Ambassador, Sen.Abbo
thanked the African students body for finding him worthy of the award,
saying it would ginger him to do more for humanity.
He restated
his commitments to stand by the Nigerian youths and sacrifice everything at his
disposal, including his life to protect their interest at all times no matter
the consequences.
He said the
yearnings and aspirations of his senatorial district, Adamawa state, Nigerians
and Africans will continue to be uppermost in his mind, vowing to always champion
their caused in the National Assembly until solutions to their challenges are
found.
