Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Malika Haqq has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The 36-year-old has revealed that she is 14 weeks pregnant, and will be due to give birth in March next year.
Taking to Instagram, she said: ‘I listen to my heart, and I’ve decided that the rest of my life will be the best of my life. I’m pregnant! ‘I didn’t know when, I just knew one day. God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me.
‘I am yours, baby, and you are mine. Thank you.’ Malika said that she has ‘always wanted to be a mother’ and is ‘overjoyed’ with her pregnancy. ‘I’m a very emotional person anyway, but this is another heightening of emotion,’ she explained to People magazine. ‘I feel really good about where I am in my life being pregnant now.’
The reality star, who has chosen not to make the identity of the child’s father public, discovered she was pregnant after partnering with Clearblue and monitoring her body with their Advanced Digital Ovulation Test.
Malika has revealed she has found out the sex of her unborn child but is keeping it a secret ‘for a little bit longer’. ‘Learning the baby’s sex was a big deal for me and now I feel like I have time,’ she said.
Malika is best known for her appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and is close friends with Khloe Kardashian. Khloe also took to Instagram to congratulate her pal on her big news.
