Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says his side weren’t clinical enough against Napoli.
The Reds lost 2-0 in Naples in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Goals from Dries Mertens and Fernando Llorente were the difference.
Mertens’ penalty came after Andrew Robertson was deemed to have fouled Jose Callejon in the area.
However, replays showed Callejon was going down before Robertson’s challenge.
And Klopp was vocal after the defeat, claiming his Liverpool side’s decision making wasn’t good enough.
“We had not enough chances at the end, to be 100 per cent honest,” Klopp told BT Sport.
“We made decisions that were not right tonight and we have to accept the result.
“Very often it was the final ball which was not right. It was a bit because of the intensity of the game because it was wild.
“The last ball is the most difficult ball anyway and when you are not in the right physical circumstances then it is even more difficult.
“There were moments when we should have done better for sure.
“We were not happy at half time and wanted to change our counter-attack and spread the runs more.
“We lost the ball very often in the centre in the box when we played a one-two then it went in the other direction and they killed us. That was our problem tonight.”
