Borno Governor, Zulum appoints security adviser, 10 aides


Borno State governor, Prof. Babagana  Zulum has approved the appointment of Colonel A. A. Chiroma (rtd) as Special Adviser on Security. 


The Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy to the governor, Malam Isa Gusau, who made the announcement, said Governor Zulum has also appointed 10 Senior and Special Assistants for specific functions, two of whom are to serve under the state’s deputy governor. 


The appointments are as follows: Col. A. A. Chiroma, Special Adviser on Security; Alh. Mustapha Ali, Senior Special Assistant on Security; Ali Abba Jato, Senior Special Assistant, Abuja Liaison Services; Mr. Christopher Godwin Akaba, Senior Special Assistant on Jobs Creation and Youths Empowerment; Sale Habib, Senior Special Assistant on Schedules and Events; Bukar Mustapha Special Assistant on Documentation.

Others include: Shuaibu Baba Adamu, Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Deputy Governor; Alfred Yahaya Bwala, Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Deputy Governor; Alhaji Mustapha Bulus, Senior Special Assistant (Public Financial Management); Yusuf Usman Shettima Senior Special Assistant on Projects Monitoring & Evaluation and Abdullahi Yusuf Special Assistant On Projects documentation.

The spokesman explained that ‎Governor Zulum would soon approve a date for swearing-in of the special Advisers while all other appointments take immediate effect.
