
President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Katsina, his home state, for a ten-day State visit, during which he will commission some projects executed by the state government.
The President, who arrived at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport at 5.00pm yesterday, was received by Governor Aminu Bello Masari, his Deputy Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tasi’u Musa Zango, Secretary to the Katsina State Government, Dr. Mustafa Mohammed Inuwa, Galadiman Katsina and District Head of Malumfashi, Justice Saddik AbdulLahi Mahuta and heads of security agencies in the state, among others.
In a statement by the Director General, Media, Abdu Labaran Malunfashi, said while in the state, the President will, after the Sallah break, visit some Internally Displaced Persons Camps as well as commission some notable projects executed by the Governor Masari administration.
Some of the projects to be commissioned include roads, hospitals among others.
