Iheanacho: How Mikel, Guardiola, Rodgers, Yaya influenced my football career

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho believes the quartet of Mikel Obi, Pep Guardiola, Yaya Toure, and Brenda Rodgers have played a huge part in influencing his football career.

The Nigerian international who recently joined Middlesbrough on loan from Sevilla in the January transfer window made this known in a chat with TheBoroOfficial.
“Biggest influence on my career? There are quite a couple. So many people helped me throughout my career, obviously, managers as well, [Manuel] Pellegrini, Brendan Rodgers, and Pep Guardiola.

“Players as well Clichy, Kompany, Yaya Toure, obviously, and Jamie Vardy as well. There is a lot to be mentioned.

“A lot of people have helped me throughout my career even in the [Nigerian] national team as well, John Mikel Obi, so many coaches have helped me as well, so that’s them.”
