The Management of University of Ilorin has threatened to sanction graduates who are yet to collect their certificate.
Affected graduates are required to pay N3,000 per week, and show evidence of payment for convocation among others.
The Registrar of the university M.A. Alfanla said this in a press release, observing that “many certificates remain unclaimed by graduates (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) of the University.
“The University Management, therefore, urged all affected graduates to turn up and collect their certificates on or before Friday, 17th January, 2025.
“Thereafter, failure to do so will attract a fine of ₦3,000.00 per week.
“In view of the foregoing, affected graduates are hereby advised to bring along the necessary documents required for a seamless collection, such as evidence of payment for convocation, the original copy of the Statement of Result, the Student Identification Card, etc.” the registrar said.
