Two second half goals decided the FIFA U20 World Cup match between Nigeria and Italy on Wednesday.

Nigeria and Italy clashed in a top of the table clash in group D at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, in Mendoza.

Lawal Salem Fago (61′) and Sunday Jude (90+5′) got the goals to separate the sides and confirm Ladan Bosso side’s progress to the round of 16 of the tournament.

The Flying Eagles have now landed in round of 16 stage after their commanding two back-to-back victories.
