Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed and his counterparts from Borno, Lagos, and Gombe States and the President of the Dangote Foundation, Aliko Dangote are currently in talks with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in efforts to improve Primary Health Care Delivery interventions
In a statement through his media aide Muktar Gidado, the governor was slated to push for more intervention to support the state’s Primary Health Care address health concerns in Bauchi state.
The governor said he was determined to attract more interventions for Bauchi state especially in the aspect of health.
The statement recalled that the Bauchi State Government has already paid the sum of N200 million counterpart fund out of the N339 million budgeted for the 2019 State Basket Fund contribution for Primary Health Care State Immunization Policy.
Officials on the delegation include Hon. Yunusa Ahmed Warji, member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly and Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, Executive Chairman, State Primary Health Care Development Agency.
