Manchester City legend David Silva will leave the club next summer to join MLS side Inter Miami, according to reports.

The 33-year-old has been one of the Premier League’s outstanding performers since moving to the Etihad in 2010, winning four league titles, two FA Cups and four League Cups in that time.

Silva extended his stay in Manchester when he penned a deal in 2017 that ran through to 2020, but he is expected to quit the club at the end of this season.

And The Independent reports that new MLS club Inter Miami want Silva to become their marquee signing.

Part-owned by David Beckham, it is claimed that the former England captain would like to sign the playmaker as it would help attract south Florida’s large Hispanic community.

Inter Miami will begin their MLS campaign in 2020 season but Silva would likely miss the first three months of the new campaign as it begins in March.
