Engineer Musa Wada has emerged the PDP candidate for the November 16 governorship election in Kogi state.
He beat his closest rivals, Abu Ibrahim and Capt. Idris, his brother who served as governor between 2012 and 2016. Wada scored 748 votes,
Abu Ibrahim scored 710 votes while Capt. Idris Wada had 350 votes.
Other candidates have the following votes.
Dino Melaye 70 votes;
Aminu 55 votes;
Victor Adoji 54 votes; Erico 42 votes; Atawodi 11 votes and Omobije 9 votes.
Musa Wada will square up against incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello of the APC in the coming election
